Here Inga tells us about her long journey with eczema and how she now treats it…
Inga’s skin story
Eczema has been an unwelcome part of my life since childhood. Spreading over my face, neck, hands, arms, and chest, it affects me every day.
For the longest time, red patches of skin have covered my upper body and face. Always dry, tight and itchy but at its worst wet and blistering. Sometimes my eczema was so painful that I was unable to work. These symptoms affected not only my physical health but my emotional health too. Eczema can be truly debilitating.
I felt most self-conscious when experiencing a bad flare-up on my face. It felt like nothing could help and my confidence took a huge hit.
From dermatologists to doctors, steroid creams to natural formulations, I felt as if I had exhausted all options. Various tests failed to identify my allergens and while the prescribed remedies sometimes led to temporary relief, they always ended up feeling like a waste of time and money as my symptoms persisted.
I saw an advert for Dermatology M while scrolling on social media. I was intrigued by the natural ingredients, and I had positive memories of trying Chinese herbs in the past. I thought it was worth a try!
I ordered the Soothing Bath & Shower Oil and Nourishing Cream plus the Moisturising Lip Balm.
Within the first week, I’d noticed a real difference. My sore skin was soothed and the constant itchiness had almost completely stopped. The scaly, red patches faded and my skin looked more even than it had done in years. I was blown away by the results in such a short space of time.
My skin felt so cool and comfortable. It gave me a huge boost to be able to wear normal clothes again. Beforehand I couldn’t wear anything that would touch my eczema as it would worsen the irritation.
My favourite product of the three was Nourishing Cream as it made the most difference, I think it’s absolutely amazing! I would recommend always pairing this with Soothing Bath & Shower Oil as it is no use applying calming products to only wash the results away with an aggravating soap or shower gel.
Next on my wish list is the Rose Otto Face Cream - I’ve read great things and can’t wait to try it.
